Given Lewis fifth achievement, I have created three new designs inspired by the three greatest drivers in terms of F1 titles.
Michael Schumacher, 7 time winner
Michael is still the leading champion for F1 titles and a number of other racing achievements. While he raced for four teams, his time in Ferrari was one of complete dominance of the sport. He holds the record for the most F1 wins (7), the most Grand Prix wins (91), the most races won in a single season (13) and the most fastest laps (77). With his brother Ralf they are the only siblings to race in F1 and finished 1st and 2nd in four races.
His aggressive style brought with it penalties and rewards, in 1994 he crashed into Damon Hill to ensure that he would win his third world title, and deny Damon that chance.
Juan Manuel Fangio, 5 time winner
Lewis referenced Fangio as ‘the godfather’ of F1 racing, not only due to his own success but also in reference to his driving at a time that was both physically demanding and extremely dangerous. At the 1955 Le Mans race, while in the pits he witnessed the crash that killed 80 spectators.
He won almost half of all the races he entered, and started on the front row of 92% of those races, feats that may never be surpassed.
He also won his title with a variety of teams and the design I have created here is drawn from his Maserati 4CLT car in the national racing colours of Argentina, his country of birth and also his main sponsors.
His last win, at the 1957 Nürburgring Grand Prix has been widely claimed as the best driving performance in Formula One history.
Lewis Hamilton, 5 time winner
To celebrate Lewis fifth championship, I have released a new design which is available as a t shirt or hoody. The t shirt is available in black, white, steel or green. I am now able to print on hoody sleeves so have incorporated this in the design which records in laurels his F1 championships.
All of my other designs reference past F1 drivers so there is little I can tell you about Lewis that you don’t already know!
That’s it from me. I have recently upgraded some of the website code etc so hopefully it will now load much faster than before.
