This design is inspired by the 1956 Le Mans winning Ecurie Ecossie (Scotland Stable) team running a Jaguar D-Type.
Ecurie Ecossie was founded in Scotland in 1951 and won the 1956 and the 1957 Le Mans. They also entered Formula One, Two and had revivals in the 1980's and in 2011.
