Nigel Mansell is the second highest ranked British driver for F1 wins, in a fifteen year career that spanned drives for the Lotus, Williams, Ferrari and McLaren teams.

He holds a number of rare accolades, and after winning the F1 title in 1992 he then moved across to the IndyCar World series, becoming the first driver to win the title in their first attempt, and the only driver to win both he F1 world title and the IndyCar world title.

This design is based on the Williams-Renault FW14B which Nigel claimed his 1992 F1 title in. It was informally known as 'Red 5' based on the number and colour that Nigel wanted to race in, which was different to the official Williams approach of white lettering. This car had a number of technological advances that were subsequently banned from F1.

This car was purchased by Sebastien Vettel in 2022 and now runs on synthetic fuel. He ran the car at Silverstone prior to the 2022 British Grand Prix to commemorate Nigel's 30th anniversary of his win at that track. Fans were pleased to see Mansell there watching and some were even more pleased that his trademark moustache had returned as well.
