Designs inspired by the Schnitzer tuned version of the BMW E9 3.0 and 3.5 CSL that raced in the ETCC motorsport series in Europe. BMW CSL's won the ETCC championship every year from 1975 to 1979.
Schnitzer Motorsport was formed by brothers Josef and Herbert Schnitzer and they have raced continuously since 1967.
This design is based on the 1973 colour scheme of their BMW CSL's.
