When is a Jaguar also a Porsche and a Mazda?

With a change in Group C regulations came into force in 1991, Jaguar in partnership with Ross Brawn (design) and TWR (engineering) created a new design to take advantage of these changes, where downforce became more important than drag, resulting in a car much quicker in corners than before.

This new XJR-14 was considered to be in a league of its own and it won the series. It did not compete at Le Mans though, due to its Ford V8 engine not being developed or tested to run for this twenty four hour period, where Jaguar instead entered their older XJR-12 cars.

In 1992 TWR moved to Mazda and a Judd powered V10. Success at Le Mans came in 1996 and 1997 where it was converted into a TWR-Porsche WSC-95 open seater, winning the event in both of these years.
