Design inspired by the legendary Australian race driver Jack Brabham. Jack won the world F1 drivers championship three times. He was also the founder of the Brabham Racing Team.
He became the first person to win a F1 race driving a car made by his own team, something only Bruce McLaren has achieved, with Jackie Stewart and Alain Prost also having their own team but not being able to win a race.
Brabham's first F1 title came from driving for Cooper Racing Cars, and his migration to form his own racing team that entered in F1 and Indy Car racing was pioneering for a driver. Bruce McLaren formed a close relationship with Jack Brabham and was influenced by how he developed his own racing team.
After Jack Brabham retired from racing in 1970, his Brabham F1 team continued to be successful and with drivers Niki Lauda, Nelson Piquet and Riccardo Patrese before it withdrew in 1992.
