This is a special commemorative design for the 1000 Formula 1 races that Ferrari have entered, which occurred at the Tuscan Grand Prix in 2020.
This design features the nine Ferrari drivers who have won World Championships, with Kimi Raikkonen being the last driver to achieve this, in 2007.
Enzo Ferrari first created Scuderia Ferrari as a racing division within Alfa Romeo in 1929 although the creation in 1938 of Alfa Corse (racing team) saw Enzo leave Alfa.
He recreated Scuderia Ferrari after the second World War and entered the newly formed Formula 1 world championship in 1950. Ferrari are the only F1 team to have entered in every race season.
The 1000 race milestone was originally scheduled for Monaco, but this changed with the 2020 season calendar being impacted by the covid-19 pandemic.
